Fall Editing Challenge | Winner

Congratulations to Catalina of Catalina DeVore Photography on her beautiful edit of Terrano Photography's photo of a little girl in front of a tombstone.  Check out her edit and read a little bit about Catalina below.

I'm Catalina with Catalina DeVore Photography. I'm a natural light photographer and my main focus is photographing families and children. Photographs have always been a huge part of my life. We have shoeboxes FULL of photographs as my Mom understands the importance of capturing every moment... the milestones and the details of every day life which I'm so grateful for. It wasn't until almost a year ago, after I had taken Senior photographs for a dear friend's daughter, when I shared with my oldest daughter my dream about being a photographer. She said something so simple, but it struck me... "Just do it, Mom." So, I did! I immersed myself in everything photography and Photoshop. The world of photography can be an intimidating one... especially when you're one of those cliche' "Mom Togs" like me.  However, along with my family (who are my biggest fans), I've also been able to friend a few amazingly talented and kind photographers who have been so encouraging. Lifestyle photography is what I love... catching people in their natural state, but I'm a huge fan of using props and creating sets. I think that's the creative event planner in me showing... haha! My mind is constantly flooded with ideas and scenarios.  I have a weakness for a formal couch in a field of wheatgrass. When people are drawn to the image and start asking questions like "How?" or "Why?", then I accomplished what I set out to do.
