Inspiration: {Grain}

{grain}:
Noise on an image commonly caused by higher ISO settings on the camera, low-light conditions, or film processing.  Grain can also be added artistically during post-processing of digital images. Grain helps to give a photograph texture as well as a vintage or film feel.  Sometimes contextualized as an unwanted by-product, grain can give a creative boost to your imagery and embracing it or adding it aesthetically can help your work stand out.

  1. I like this post. I do like grain as a vintage look or to give some mystery to the image. Need to work at the intention of it though. Thx for the inspiration!
